Getting Started

The fastest way to find out is to take our 3-minute pre-qualification questionnaire. We'll ask about your weight, height, age, basic medical history, and current medications. If you appear to be a candidate, you'll be invited to schedule a virtual consultation with a licensed provider, who will make the final clinical determination.

Generally, candidates have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 27 or higher and have no contraindications such as personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, history of pancreatitis, current pregnancy, or active eating disorder.

Yes. PrimeFit Rx works with licensed providers in all 50 U.S. states. As long as you have a valid U.S. address, you can be a patient.

No. PrimeFit Rx is a fully online program. Your initial consultation, follow-up visits, and ongoing care are all conducted virtually through our HIPAA-compliant patient portal.

Lab work is not required to start the program. Our pre-qualification questionnaire and your provider's clinical evaluation cover the safety screening needed to determine eligibility. If your provider determines that lab work is needed for your specific situation, they will let you know during your consultation.

Some patients choose to obtain baseline labs (such as kidney function, thyroid panel, lipid panel) as part of their general health monitoring. We're happy to coordinate this through a partner lab if you'd like, but it's optional.

About the Medication

The active ingredients in our medications (semaglutide and tirzepatide) are FDA-approved in their branded forms (Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound). However, the compounded versions we prescribe are not FDA-approved as final products. Compounded medications are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies that are regulated by state pharmacy boards and the FDA, and they're prepared based on individual prescriptions from your provider.

Your medication ships from a U.S.-licensed compounding pharmacy directly to the address you provide. Shipments arrive in discreet, temperature-stable packaging. Standard shipping is included in your monthly price. Most patients receive their first shipment within 5 to 7 business days of their initial consultation.

Most patients begin to notice reduced appetite within the first 1 to 2 weeks. Visible weight loss typically begins around week 4 and continues steadily over the following months. Studies of branded GLP-1 medications show average weight loss of 10 to 22 percent of body weight over 12 to 18 months when paired with healthy lifestyle habits.

Individual results vary. Your provider will track your progress and adjust your treatment plan as needed.

Common side effects of GLP-1 medications include nausea, constipation, diarrhea, fatigue, headache, and injection site reactions. Most side effects are mild and improve as your body adjusts. Your provider will guide you on how to minimize side effects through gradual dose escalation and lifestyle adjustments.

Less common but more serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder issues, kidney problems, severe allergic reactions, and mood changes. If you experience severe symptoms, contact your provider or seek emergency care.

Pricing & Billing

No. PrimeFit Rx is a cash-pay program. We don't bill insurance. The benefit is that there are no insurance approvals, no prior authorizations, and no surprise bills. The trade-off is that we cannot offer insurance-discounted pricing.

If your insurance covers GLP-1 medications, you may want to explore that route as a separate option. We can provide receipts that you may submit to a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), where applicable.

You'll be charged the monthly price of your selected plan after your provider confirms you're a candidate during your initial consultation. Your subscription will renew automatically each month unless you pause or cancel before your next refill ships.

Bundle plans (3-month, 6-month, 12-month) are paid upfront and are not refundable once your medication has shipped.

Yes. Monthly plans can be paused or cancelled at any time before your next refill ships. Once medication has shipped, that month is non-refundable. Bundle plans can be cancelled but the medication already received is not refundable.

To cancel, log in to your patient portal or message our support team. Cancellation takes effect immediately.
